GC INDUS is a sub-brand of MFG SOLUTION CO.,LIMITED and part of its manufacturing network. This notice concerns information handled through gcindus.com. For questions about responsibility for your information or a particular project, contact greatt@gcindus.com.
Our commitment to product & customer confidentiality
We treat all non-public product and customer information you entrust to us as confidential. This includes drawings, CAD files, 3D models, prototypes, samples, specifications, tolerances, bills of materials, tooling details, inspection results, pricing, order volumes, business plans and customer identities or contact details.
We use this information only to evaluate your inquiry, prepare quotations, perform agreed manufacturing and inspection work, provide support, or meet legal obligations. Sharing a drawing or requesting a quote does not grant permission for public display, portfolio use, advertising, resale of your design or unrelated use.
- Access must be limited to authorised people who need the information for your project.
- Any necessary disclosure to manufacturing partners or service providers must be limited to the relevant task and subject to appropriate confidentiality and information-protection arrangements.
- We will not publish identifiable customer products, drawings, project details, names or logos as project examples without permission.
- We will not knowingly use confidential customer materials to train public AI models or upload them to public AI tools without authorisation.
- Customer intellectual property remains with its owner; any separate manufacturing, tooling or licence agreement governs agreed rights.
Confidentiality obligations do not prevent disclosures required by law or a binding authority. Where legally permitted, we will inform affected customers of such requirements. Information already lawfully public is distinct from confidential project material. Please contact us before uploading if you require an NDA, export-control restrictions, a particular storage location or a dedicated secure transfer channel.
Information security & regional privacy commitments
Our information-handling policy is to protect confidentiality, integrity and availability through risk-appropriate controls: data minimisation, need-to-know access, secure transfer, protection of stored records, access reviews, supplier confidentiality requirements, retention review and incident response. Specific security requirements should be agreed for the project before sensitive materials are transferred. This policy does not represent an ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2 or other independent certification.
Europe and the United Kingdom
Where applicable, we handle personal information in accordance with the GDPR, UK GDPR and relevant ePrivacy rules. We identify an appropriate lawful basis, provide transparent information and limit collection and use to stated purposes. Non-essential cookie categories remain off until an affirmative choice. Withdrawing cookie consent must be as easy as giving it and does not prevent an inquiry.
For personal information subject to European or UK transfer restrictions, required transfer mechanisms and safeguards must be in place before a restricted international transfer, including standard contractual clauses or UK mechanisms where appropriate. Contact us for information about arrangements applicable to your project.
United States
Where US state privacy laws apply, including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, eligible individuals may request access or knowledge, correction, deletion, portability, and opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising as applicable. We do not sell confidential customer designs or customer contact lists. The current website module does not enable advertising or cross-site tracking providers. A Global Privacy Control signal keeps the marketing category off.
We do not discriminate against individuals for exercising applicable privacy rights. Requests can be sent to the contact below; authorised-agent requests, verification, appeals and response periods are handled as required by applicable law. Not every law applies to every business or every request.
Security incidents
If a security incident affects information under our responsibility, our commitment is to investigate, contain the incident, assess the impact and make notifications required by applicable law and contractual obligations. No website policy can guarantee that every security incident will be prevented.
02 / Information we receive
When you request a quote, we receive your email address and any optional information you submit: name, company, country or region, material, finishing, quantity, requested delivery date, project requirements and drawings or other uploaded files. Only email is required by our quote form.
Selected files are uploaded when you submit your request. Please provide only information needed to assess your project and only files you are authorised to share.
The website and its hosting infrastructure also process technical information needed to deliver pages and protect the service, such as IP addresses, request details, browser information and error records. The inquiry form uses an IP-derived rate limit to reduce abuse.
03 / How we use information
- Assess drawings and manufacturing requirements, prepare quotations and respond to inquiries.
- Communicate about engineering review, project feasibility, delivery and orders.
- Keep inquiry records, troubleshoot delivery failures and protect the website from misuse.
- Meet applicable record-keeping and legal obligations.
Submitting an inquiry is not a subscription to marketing. Where applicable data-protection law requires a lawful basis, handling your requested quotation may involve steps towards a contract; security and service administration may involve legitimate interests; statutory record-keeping may involve legal obligations. Optional tracking, if introduced, will require appropriate controls before use.
04 / Sharing & international handling
Quote submissions are recorded in the website’s inquiry system and sent by email to our engineering contact, greatt@gcindus.com; an uploaded drawing may be included in that notification. Website hosting and email providers therefore process information to deliver these services.
Project information may need to be reviewed by people involved in engineering and manufacturing coordination. Ask us before submitting if your project requires an NDA, restricted access or specific handling arrangements. Information may be handled in China and in locations used by service providers. Contact us to discuss the recipients, locations and safeguards relevant to your project.
The WhatsApp button opens an external service only when you choose to continue. Your typed message is included in the WhatsApp link when you click it. WhatsApp and any social websites you visit have their own privacy practices; their policies apply on those services.
05 / Retention & security
Inquiry records, drawings and email correspondence may be retained for quotation follow-up, project support, business records and applicable legal requirements. The appropriate period depends on the request and whether it becomes an order. Contact us to ask about retention or request deletion; information subject to required retention may not be immediately removable.
Website inquiry records use private access within WordPress, and access to business information should be limited to people who need it. No internet transmission or storage system is risk-free. Contact us before sending highly sensitive files so appropriate arrangements can be discussed.
07 / Your choices & requests
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion or a copy of your information, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority. These rights can be subject to conditions and legal exceptions.
Email us with enough information to locate your inquiry. We may need to verify your identity before acting. Do not send sensitive identity documents unless we explain why they are needed and agree a suitable way to provide them.
